The Rare Ritual Body Melt is a whipped tallow body butter unlike any conventional lotion or butter on the market. At its core is grass-fed tallow, paired with shea butter, sweet almond oil, and castor oil, and designed to melt on contact with body heat. The Ritual

Warm a generous amount between your palms until the butter melts and becomes fluid. Apply to the body in sweeping motions, focusing on dry or rough areas. Elbows, knees, shins, hands, and heels respond particularly well. For best results, apply to slightly damp skin immediately after showering. Use daily as part of your Ritual.

How Much

A walnut-sized amount covers the full body. Increase the amount for particularly dry areas or in colder, lower-humidity conditions.

When to Use

Daily, preferably after bathing while skin is still slightly damp. The moisture in the skin assists absorption and amplifies the conditioning effect. Can also be used as a spot treatment on extremely dry areas throughout the day.

Product may soften significantly in warm conditions and firm in the cold. This does not affect performance. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep below 25°C. Use the spatula provided to avoid contamination. Avoid direct contact with eyes.

Grass-Fed Tallow (Tallow)

The biocompatible foundation. Rich in oleic, palmitic, and stearic acids, the same fatty acids that make up the human skin barrier, grass-fed tallow is absorbed and recognised by the skin with exceptional ease. Its occlusive nature seals in moisture while its fatty acid density actively replenishes the barrier. Used ancestrally on the body for centuries, its return to luxury skincare is a considered one.

Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii Butter)

Rich in triterpene alcohols, naturally occurring compounds associated with skin repair and calming. Shea contributes creaminess to the texture and adds a layer of skin-softening emolliency that complements the tallow base. Cold-pressed and unrefined for maximum biological activity.

Sweet Almond Oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil)
